Hong Kong International Jazz Festival 2012

The Hong Kong International Jazz Festival 2011 featured over 300 artists from 24 countries with a series of indoor and outdoor jazz concerts, workshops, talks and a photographic exhibition on 25 September - 2 October 2011. Some of the performances were Asian or world premieres and many were unique to this festival.

The festival included the first outdoor music event at the West Kowloon Cultural District on 1 - 2 October 2011. Five-time Grammy-winning trumpeter Terence Blanchard, Grammy-winning percussionist Poncho Sanchez, the youngest brother of Nat King Cole, Freddy Cole and his Quartet and other star-studded jazz legends performed with the Victoria Harbour as a backdrop.
