Guided fishing village boat trip

As one of Hong Kong’s most important fishing ports that dates back to the 14th century, Aberdeen’s fishing village has kept its roots as a traditional fishing hub. Join an hour-long boat tour where you and your team will learn more about the neighbourhood's fishing heritage and the Tanka people who resided in the area.

Embark on a sampan boat near Ap Lei Chau Hung Shing Temple for the audio-guided excursion and learn more about landmarks in the area, such as the Aberdeen Wholesale Fish Market and Tai Pak Floating Restaurant. You’ll also get the chance to enter a traditional houseboat, where you’ll see cultural exhibits about Hong Kong’s fishermen.

For lunch, try a bowl of Aberdeen-style boat noodles, which are a rarity in Hong Kong nowadays, and an authentic dish enjoyed by locals. After the tour, you together with your team can continue to explore nearby attractions in the district.
