Hong Kong Defined a New Record of Success at IT&CM China

Hong Kong redefined success during the IT&CM China event held in Shanghai from 21-23 March 2019, when Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) teamed up with 32 local trade partners to host a record-breaking number of buyer appointments. Over 940 were held at the Hong Kong Pavilion, marking the 13th consecutive year of success in lining up business at the largest MICE trade show in China.

Hong Kong’s new venues and attractions certainly impressed Mainland China buyers; from enhanced connectivity via two new advanced infrastructures, to new MICE products and ideas, such as The Mills, Xiqu Centre, Tai Kwun, Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, Hong Kong Disneyland’s ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!’ attraction,  the Old Town Central MICE Guide and MICE-Cruise. These additions elevate the world’s meeting place with ultimate convenience and unlimited rewarding experiences.

The newly launched 2019/20 Hong Kong Rewards! programme further boosts its exciting star offers, which garnered interest from buyers in Mainland China, including free meals at Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park Hong Kong to pamper their taste buds and an exhilarating day or night horse-racing experience with free food and beverages at the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s two racecourses.

To demonstrate how to infuse some local flavour into an event, MEHK has specially arranged a Hong Kong-style milk tea demonstration by Mr. Ip Tat-sang, the Champion of Milk Tea Making, served with traditional snacks like pineapple buns and egg tarts.
