HKTB MICE Ambassadors

Hong Kong’s MICE industry recovered strongly in 2023 with a quick rebound of arrivals and growing business momentum. The new year of 2024 kicked off with a calendar packed with A-list conventions, new exhibitions and mega in-town celebrations!

Taking Hong Kong’s event scene to a bountiful start for 2024, the city’s flagship financial event, Asian Financial Forum (AFF) was held for the 17th edition on 24-25 January, drawing over 3,600 policymakers and business leaders from more than 50 countries and regions. To enrich the delegates’ journey in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Tourism Board offers a series of exclusive in-town experiences. Check out the memorable experiences of AFF delegates from the video.

Hong Kong is also delighted to have won the bid for hosting an inaugural flagship MICE trade show IBTM Asia Pacific 2025, slated for spring next year. Events organised by internationally important financial media – Technology for Change Asia organised by The Economist slated for 27-28 February and the inaugural Fortune Innovation Forum 2024 scheduled for 27-28 March – also underscore Hong Kong’s significance as the World’s Meeting Place. Also in the pipeline are major conventions across multiple sectors, from aviation and logistics to innovation and technology, medical and more.

Meanwhile, iconic exhibitions big and small are lining up to put on a great show in Hong Kong, following on the tremendous success achieved in 2023. Vinexpo Asia 2024, the concurrent APLF Leather & Materials+ and Fashion Access shows and the inaugural Super Terminal Expo 2024 are also getting a spot in Hong Kong’s hectic exhibition calendar.
