Causeway Bay’s Local Treats

Hong Kong’s shopping hub Causeway Bay is the perfect place to get out and about after hours spent inside an exhibition hall, with numerous food and shopping locations that line a compact selection of streets. Noodles are a popular choice for lunch or a casual dinner, with cart noodles , congee, and wonton noodles available piping hot almost around the clock. Those with a sweet tooth may wish to bite into a local treat at one of Causeway Bay’s many dessert outlets. It would be almost unthinkable to venture into the area without engaging in Hong Kong’s most popular sport – shopping – and some of the city’s best and biggest malls are found in Causeway Bay, including Times Square, SOGO and Hysan Place. The area’s beautiful Tin Hau Temple is also worth a peek, as is the lush greens of Victoria Park, where weary visitors may wish to join the locals in a spot of tai chi (Chinese shadow boxing).
