A RECORD NUMBER OF AMBASSADORS UNITE FOR GLOBAL IMPACT

With much anticipation, we are excited to announce the launch of the 2025-2026 Hong Kong Convention Ambassadors (HKCA) programme, with a record-breaking number of over 170 leaders from Hong Kong and the Mainland, covering 13 business sectors. A sincere gratitude to all of you for your generosity and commitment in making Hong Kong the place to meet.

Into the 3^rd term this year, the HKCA programme is seeing an impressive 80% increase in ambassadors since its inauguration in 2020. Collectively, HKCAs have contributed to 77 convention wins and referrals that accounted for some 90,000 high-yield overnight visitors over the years.

This incredible growth and achievement reflects the enthusiasm among leaders in bringing global events to Hong Kong, driving multi-sector advancements and boosting the city's economy. Thank you again for your leadership and we look forward to working closely with you all to reinforce Hong Kong as the world's meeting place.

AMBASSADORS CONNECT

HONG KONG–MAINLAND COLLABORATION
IN MAKING HONG KONG THE PLACE TO MEET

The Hong Kong Convention Ambassador Business Forum and Networking Luncheon brought together local HKCAs and business counterparts to connect with 39 senior executives from Mainland associations for an insightful business exchanges and exploring Hong Kong as a convention destination. Hong Kong’s business advantages, convention trends and track record were showcased by InvestHK, ICCA and Communications Association of Hong Kong.

Two congresses from the financial services and medical industries have been confirmed for Hong Kong further to the Hong Kong-Mainland collaboration. “Hong Kong offers excellent financial infrastructure, talents and technical professionals, complemented by robust financial governance, regulation and tax regime. That makes Hong Kong ideal for staging world-class finance congresses”, said Gao Qi, Vice Chairman of the China Business Event Industry Committee under the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC).

To explore Hong Kong’s latest edge, Mainland leaders also took the opportunity to visit Hong Kong’s latest venues, attend executive seminars, and enjoy East-meets-West experiences from horseracing party to Cantonese opera workshops.
