Wild Walk: Eagle’s Nest

Eagle’s Nest Nature Trail is so name for the black kites that roost up there. It is also home to wild macaques, and hikers can take an easy walk into this wilder side of Hong Kong. A wooden archway serves as a welcome sign for the tree-covered hill.

The Kowloon Reservoir and the graceful curve of its stone dam peek through thick foliage, and a striking panorama of the city and Victoria Harbour makes the hike to this part of the Lion Rock Country Park all very worthwhile. Snap a group shot at this summit, and then head downhill to Sham Shui Po near the finish point to refuel at the numerous local restaurants in the neighbourhood,
