Walk on the wild side: Eagle’s Nest Nature Trail
Eagle’s Nest Nature Trail is so name for the black kites that roost up there. It is also home to wild macaques, and hikers can take an easy walk into this wilder side of Hong Kong. A wooden archway serves as a welcome sign for the tree-covered hill.
The Kowloon Reservoir and the graceful curve of its stone dam peek through thick foliage, and a striking panorama of the city and Victoria Harbour makes the hike to this part of the Lion Rock Country Park all very worthwhile.
