February to March
Thousands of collectors, artists, and art enthusiasts gather annually in Hong Kong during the city's Arts Month in March to view the diverse visual showcase at Art Basel, the largest and one of the most important art events in the world, that converges hundreds of international leading galleries.
Running alongside Art Basel is the contemporary art fair, Art Central, a cornerstone event of Hong Kong Art Week that showcases the next generation of talents from Asia and various parts of the world across all forms of art.
Another major international event is the half-century-old Hong Kong Arts Festival, which hosts top international artists and ensembles in all genres of performing arts from February to March.
