Kai Tak Sports Park (to be opened in 2025)

With an area of around 28 hectares, Kai Tak Sports Park anchors the redevelopment of the former airport site and offers a world-class destination for all interests.

The Sports Park’s various world-class facilities can accommodate tens of thousands of spectators with its customisable seating and stage set up to host international competitions and large-scale sports events. In particular, the Main Stadium holds 50,000 spectators and has a retractable roof and flexible pitch surface. Other large-scale spaces include an Indoor Sports Centre with 10,000 seats and a public sports ground with 5,000 seats. Within the Sports Park, visitors can also find large open spaces for public enjoyment as well as retail and dining outlets, making it an ideal venue for large-scale events.
