APLF 2024

The top-class leather exhibition, APLF Leather Fair, returns to Hong Kong this year after a break of five years to celebrate its 40th anniversary. APLF 2024 was held on 19–21 March 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The first edition of the Hong Kong International Leather Fair (later to become APLF) was held in 1984 and took root in Hong Kong for many years. This year, APLF returns to Hong Kong after five years and celebrates APLF’s 40th anniversary. APLF has always moved to reflect changes in the industry, and Hong Kong has always been with APLF.

This year, the exhibition, attracted 739 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions and around 12,000 visitors from 73 countries and regions. Compared with last year, the number of exhibitors and visitors this year has more than doubled.

David Bondi, Senior Vice President, Informa Markets Asia said, "The enthusiasm is palpable as the city has long been our home base, connecting the global markets with Chinese suppliers and buyers."

The 2024 event is taking place at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in a 3-in-1 format, as in 2019. That is, APLF Leather is held concurrently with its sister fairs, Materials+ and Fashion Access.

Onsite Events 

APLF is not only just a trade fair but also hosts seminars, conferences, and trend areas over the years. The main onsite events in this year including "Global Footwear Executive Summit", "Let’s Talk Leather Masterclass" and "Leather Foundation Course for Fashion Professionals".
