Hong Kong was once again chosen as the strategic location for the 2024 edition of global Web3 event, WOW (World of Web3) Summit, following its fruitful debut in the city in 2023. The organisers applauded Hong Kong's strong government support for the I&T industry, particularly in areas like Web3, as well as the city's unique position as the gateway to Chinese Mainland.

Successfully held at AsiaWorld-Expo on 26-27 March, this year’s summit registered a substantial increase in attendance to 5,000 attendees. Bringing together tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investors and leaders in Web3, AI, Blockchain and NFT art, the summit provided a purpose-built platform for high-level discussion and elaborate networking for exploring lucrative business opportunities.

Following the summit, a group of delegates enjoyed memorable art moments through the Arts in Hong Kong tour organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).

The return of the WOW Summit underscored the city's track record and capability in hosting and expanding global flagship events across all sectors.
