Hong Kong redefined success during the IT&CM China event held in Shanghai from 21-23 March 2019, when Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) teamed up with 32 local trade partners to host a record-breaking number of buyer appointments.
Held from 6–10 March 2019, over 60 agents from five strategic markets, including Mainland China, India, Indonesia, South Korea and the new joiner – Thailand, gathered for a 5-day rewarding familiarisation trip and received accolades at MEHK-hosted Awards Ceremony at Ocean Park Marriott Hotel as recognition.
As 2019 cruises along, Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) held the first MICE trade briefing cum cruise visit at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on 25 January 2019, with over 40 trade partners and cruise lines invited to put the city’s latest products and offerings on their radar and set sail with “MICE on Cruise” meeting potential.
Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) hosted the ‘Rail and Bridge • Unlock Hong Kong’s New Potential’ familiarisation trip from 16 – 20 January 2019. Over 50 travel agent representatives from the Greater Bay Area and key cities in Mainland China arrived and departed with the city’s two new mega infrastructures and explored new MICE offerings while in town. The city officially unveiled a new era of MICE travel, which offers additional benefits to planners who often request innovative itineraries for MICE groups.

Themed movie tours will be organised, a kiosk featuring home-grown enterprises like ‘Mei Lok Store’ will also be available and much more.
